4. Select Model Type

Based on the objectives and data characteristics, select an appropriate model type. This could be a mathematical model, a physical model, or a combination of both.

 

5. Build the Model

Use mathematical tools or software to build the mathematical expressions or simulation programs for the model. During this process, parameters need to be continuously adjusted to ensure the model's rationality.

 

6. Validation and Verification

Validate the model using existing real-world data to test its predictive power and accuracy. If the model output deviates significantly from actual results, model parameters need to be adjusted or assumptions improved.

 

7. Application and Optimization

Apply the model to simulations to find optimization solutions, such as adjusting production parameters or improving process flows. Then, apply the model to actual operations, continuously monitoring and optimizing it.
